Fee Instructions (As per CLAT Counselling)

As per the CLAT Counselling Instructions, candidates may kindly note:

  • The Counselling Registration Fee and Confirmation Fee are payable to the CLAT Consortium through the CLAT portal and are adjusted in the total fees.
  • The balance amount of University fees must be paid toDharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur through the payment link provided on the University’s official admission webpage.
  • All candidates who have exercised the ‘Freeze’ option must deposit the balance University fee within the prescribed deadline.
  • Failure to deposit the balance fee within the stipulated time shall be treated as exercise of the ‘Exit’ option, leading to cancellation of allotment and forfeiture of the confirmation fee, as per CLAT rules.
Important
  • This balance fee payment facility is applicable only to candidates admitted through CLAT counselling.
  • Candidates securing admission through the Vacant Seat Rounds are required to pay the full University fee of ₹ 3,15,000/- directly to the University account at the time of admission.

Refund on Withdrawal (CLAT Counselling Candidates)

In the event a candidate admitted through CLAT counselling withdraws from the programme, the refund shall be governed by the DNLU Refund Policy 2026–27. The disbursal of the refund amount shall be subject to the following conditions:

  • Refund shall be processed only from the amount paid to the University account.
  • If the withdrawal is prior to receipt of the Counselling Registration Fee and Confirmation Fee from the CLAT Consortium, refund of the portion of fee adjusted from these fees shall be processed only after the said amount is received by the University from the CLAT Consortium, in accordance with applicable rules and timelines.
