Bio

Mr. Gautam Gupta is an Assistant Professor of Law & Assistant Director for Centre for Criminal Justice Administration & Research at Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur. He is also the Co-ordinator for Programme ‘Samarpan’, DNLU for preparing DNLU students for the judiciary and civil services. He has a teaching experience of more than 7 years and has worked in reputed colleges including UPES, Dehradun & M.S. Ramaiah College of Law, Bangalore. He is a law graduate from New Law College, Bharti Vidyapeeth University, Pune, and has completed his post-graduation from National Law School of India University, Bangalore. He has authored a book entitled Lectures on History of Court, Legislation Legal Profession in India published by Satyam Law International, New Delhi, and is also the editor of books on Human Rights and Socio-Economic Offences. He has publications in reputed journals. He has organised and attended several national and international conferences and seminars. His areas of research and teaching interests include Criminal Laws, Procedural Laws and Legal History.
