Ms. Deeplaxmi Chile has been an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur since 2018. She holds a degree of M.A. in English Literature from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, and an M.A. in Sociology from Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur. She has qualified UGC-NET in Sociology. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Sociology from Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur, her doctoral research work focuses on child development, rehabilitation, and Juvenile Justice. She earlier taught at Mata Gujri Mahila Mahavidhyalaya, Jabalpur (2017-2018). She has participated in several National and International conferences, and seminars, and also published many research articles in reputed journals. She was awarded the “Young Social Scientist Award” for her research paper by Indian social science Association in collaboration with Madhyanchal Sociological Society in the International Conference held at Indore Christian College, Indore in the year 2019. She had actively participated in many training programmes and academic workshops. Her area of interest and specialization includes Sociology of Law, Criminology, Sociology of Crime and Deviance, Industrial Sociology, Social Psychology, and Informationalism Sociology. She is a life member of Indian Sociological Society and Madhyanchal Sociological Society, Madhya Pradesh.
