With the objective of quality checking and proper discipline in the rendering of the food services by the contractors, the mess committee is constituted for each academic year. The committee is composed of faculty-in-charge and student members. It is the responsibility of the committee to decide the menu keeping the interests and health of all the students in mind. The Committee is essentially a connecting link between the students and the mess and as such is responsible for dealing with all the day to day issues regarding the same.
DNLU strives to ensure proper fitness of the Students and for make them eligible to grab and gain from the opportunities of participating in various sports fests and events. A sports Committee is constituted for one year in each Academic year for maintaining the sports equipment. The Committee regulates the use, quality and maintenance of the Sports facilities available at the institution. It is composed of Faculty-in-Charge and student member. The committee ensures active participation of the students of DNLU in various events and sports fests.
MOOT COURT COMMITTEE
Moot Court is known to infuse in students, the practical knowledge of law which helps them in proper identification of the problem, and contending for their side. With this objective, Moot Court Committee, like all other Committees is constituted every Academic Year for a year and is composed of Faculty-in-Charge and Student-members. The committee undertakes the responsibility for training the candidates to be better performers. Committee’s efforts pay off with students’ achievements in various national and International Moot Court competitions.
Debating Committee is constituted to look into the task of improving the debating skills in students. In the legal fraternity, development of Knowledge with potential to present sound arguments in favour is the prime objective of the Committee. It is composed of a Faculty-in-charge and student members. To achieve the aims, the Committee sets its own procedure and functions accordingly.
A good work culture commits to academics and co-curricular activities conterminously. Cultural fests and programs are indicators of an all-round healthy environment. Enhancing the beauty of the cultural and artistic values of the students, the committee aims at creating a zest in the students for development of their cultural and artistic values by organizing various programs and preparing them to participate in various cultural fests. The Committee is composed of a faculty-in-charge and student-members. The efforts of the committee fructify in students’ achievements.
